Dynamic individuals needed to support the Youth Program Director in establishing a safe place for Lebanon youth in grades 6th through 12th. Staff will be responsible for encouraging socialization, exercise, learning, and play while incorporating the YMCA’s mission and core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into the work of the Youth Center.
Part-time morning and evening positions available for Kids Korner, our child watch while members workout. Must enjoy working with children including infants and a minimum of two years experience preferred. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 12:30pm and 3:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 11:30am. Approximately 15-25 hours per week.
The Edward and Jeanne Arnold Early Learning Center of the Lebanon YMCA is looking for an Early Head Start Teacher. This position provides age-appropriate educational instruction to infants and toddlers in Early Head Start. Teachers are responsible for the creation and implementation of weekly lesson plans and daily communication with parents. Teachers are also required to provide 2 x annual home visits and 2 x annual parent teacher conferences.

General duties include: carrying out a variety of activities (crafts, games, etc.) with children, teaching children following a curriculum as well as being a positive role model. You must have an associate or bachelor’s degree in ECE or a degree with at least 30 qualifying credits, or 2500 hours of documented experience to qualify. Leading group exercise classes is a great way to motivate and help others. Group strength training, cycle, and a variety of other classes to be offered Monday through Friday mornings and/or evenings and possibly Saturday mornings.
Now, full facility/full privilege members will have access rights to all YMCAs Nationwide. Members should bring their YMCA ID card and a photo ID card to access another Y. Some restrictions may apply depending on the YMCA and membership category such as youth and seniors. Members are encouraged to check with the Y they plan to visit ahead of time to learn the specifics.
