The Lebanon Valley Family YMCA is currently accepting applications for a Youth Center Coordinator. This individual is responsible for the organization, administration, and promotion of the Freer Family Community Youth Center to include management of the food program.
Coordinator is responsible for maintaining working relationships within the community and venders while performing these duties in accordance with the policies, procedures and standards established by the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA. Hours are Monday through Thursday 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM with an additional three hours per week for planning.
Job Qualifications
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Dynamic individuals needed to support the Youth Center Coordinator in establishing a safe place for Lebanon County youth in grades 6th through 12th. Staff will be responsible for encouraging socialization, exercise, learning, and play while incorporating the YMCA’s mission and core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into the work of the Youth Center. Part-time hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 3-6 pm. If you have a knack for engaging our young people and want to make a difference in a young person’s life, this is the job for you! $11 per hour.

Make a difference in a child’s life working for the Lebanon YMCA school aged childcare at the Ebenezer Elementary School! Will need a minimum of 2500 hours of documented childcare experience and/or a college degree. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Education or, a qualifying degree with at least 30 qualifying credits necessary. Hourly rate of pay between $16-18 per hour. Varied hours Monday through Friday between 6:30am and 5:30pm. Approximately 20-30 hours per week.

The Lebanon YMCA is seeking energetic, responsible, dedicated employees to fill our before and after school childcare positions for Northern Lebanon School District. Morning shifts begin at 6:30-7am until school begins and afternoon shifts begin at 3:15-3:30pm until 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
– Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
– Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
– Assist with homework and provide tutoring as needed
– Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
– Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
– Implement appropriate discipline techniques when necessary
– Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive and inclusive environment
Qualifications:
– Associates or Bachelors degree or 2500 hours experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
– Knowledge of school aged education principles and practices
– Familiarity with classroom management techniques
– First aid and CPR certification
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow
