General Counselor Positions

Housing and Meals are available if residing on site.  Lunch is available if residing off site.

Day Camp Counselor
Summer 2025

Serves as a role model for and provide supervision and programming to campers ranging from 6-13 years old. Day Camp General Counselors are directly responsible for the safety and well-being of campers, participants and members under the supervision of the Program and Camp Directors. The day camp positions are Monday-Friday, with potential for Thursday night overnights.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to provide care, compassion and a creative program to weekly campers.
  2. Understand the basics of the program that is being led.
  3. The ability to be adaptable and mindful of the children in each group.
  4. Previous experience working with elementary, middle school and early high school aged children.
  5. Camping experience preferred.
  6. Minimum Age 18.

 

 

Overnight Camp Counselor
Summer 2025

Serves the same role as a Day Counselor listed above but includes overnight chaperoning responsibilities. The position is overnight Sunday-Friday.

Additional requirements include:

  1. Ability to live on the camp property during all overnight camp weeks.

Aquatics & Waterfront Counselor
Summer 2025

Serves the same role as a Day or Overnight General Counselor listed above but will specialize during activity periods in aquatics & waterfront activities. This position will instruct at our pool and waterfront during at least 2 activities per day.

Additional requirements include:

  1. Current certification in waterfront lifeguarding (Red Cross preferred) or ability to pass the lifeguarding test.
  2. Understand the fundamentals of swimming to provide children with a successful and safe experience in the pool or on the waterfront.

Adventure Counselor
Summer 2025

Serves the same role as a Day or Overnight General Counselor listed above but will specialize during activity periods in adventure activities. This position will create various adventure-based classes that include but not limited to low ropes courses, high ropes, general team building, zipline and rock climbing.

Additional requirements include:

  1. Ability to teach many different aspects encompassing adventure challenges.
  2. Understand the fundamentals of challenge course procedures to provide children with a successful and safe experience while out on the course.1-2 years of belaying experience preferred.
