Arts & Crafts Specialist
Summer 2025

This position will create unique and quality crafts, drawing and painting aspects and all things crafty. Specialists are directly responsible for the safety and well-being of campers, participants and members under the supervision of the Program and Camp Directors. The position may be overnight or day.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to teach many different aspects of arts and crafting.
  2. Understand the fundamentals of all arts and crafts to demonstrate and create examples of what the children will be doing when using various crafting tools.
  3. The ability to bring a wide range of experience while being budget conscious.
  4. Previous experience working with elementary, middle school and early high school aged children
  5. Camping experience preferred
  6. Minimum Age 18

Target Land Sports Specialist
Summer 2025

This position will instruct archery, sling shots, and other recreational sports. Specialists are directly responsible for the safety and well-being of campers, participants and members under the supervision of the Program and Camp Directors. The position may be overnight or day.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to learn/certify in an archery instruction course or site training
  2. Ability to teach many different aspects of target & land sports
  3. Understand the fundamentals of target sports to provide children with a successful and safe experience while out on the course.
  4. The ability to bring a wide range of experience while being budget conscious.
  5. Previous experience working with elementary, middle school and early high school aged children
  6. Camping experience preferred
  7. Minimum Age 18

Aquatics & Waterfront Coordinator
Summer 2025

Oversees the Aquatics & Waterfront Specialists and any other lifeguards. As a supervisor of the specialists, ensure well-rounded classes and experiences are offered to all age campers. The Aquatics coordinator will also provide in-house reviews (after initial training) of pool and waterfront procedures. The position may be day or overnight.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to teach many different aspects of waterfront and swimming activities
  2. Current certification in waterfront lifeguarding (Red Cross preferred) or ability to pass the lifeguarding test
  3. Understand the fundamentals of swimming to provide children with a safe experience in the pool.
  4. Understand the fundamentals of boating to provide children with a safe experience on the waterfront.
  5. The ability to bring a wide range of experience while being budget conscious
  6. Previous experience working with elementary, middle school and early high school aged children
  7. Camping experience preferred
  8. Minimum Age 20

Adventure Coordinator
Summer 2025

Oversees the Adventure General Counselors and Target/Sports specialists. As a supervisor of the specialists, ensure well-rounded classes and experiences are offered to all age campers. The Adventure Coordinator will also provide in-house reviews (after initial training) of challenge course and target sports procedures. The position may be day or overnight.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to teach many different aspects of ropes course and target challenges.
  2. Understand the fundamentals of challenge course procedures to provide children with a successful and safe experience while out on the course. 2 years of belaying experience preferred
  3. Understand the fundamentals of target sports procedures to provide children with a successful and safe experience while out on the course. 1 year archery experience preferred
  4. The ability to bring a wide range of experience while being budget conscious
  5. Previous experience working with elementary, middle school and early high school aged children
  6. Camping experience preferred
  7. Minimum Age 20
